What?

Simple tool for easy musical experimentation.  

Turn your computer into a simple but easy musical instrument.  

Record and playback, import and export as MIDI.  

Limitations

Only play nodes and chords that belong to the selected scale.  

This limitation is what makes the tool so easy to use, you can't play "wrong" chords or nodes.

Why?

Here are a few reasons:

- Quickly record a simple musical idea.  

- Learn the roman numerals notation by practicing.  

- Have fun improvising.  

- Try to play a song you know (may not work for complex ones).

- Compose without an instrument.

- Improvise both harmony and melody at once.

- Record your self then export a MIDI file to use on a DAW.

- Come up with melodies in a chosen key.

- Harmonize your melodies by ear.

How?

1-7 to play the chords.  

q-u to play notes on the scale.  

a-j to play notes on the scale one octave higher.  

z-m to play notes on the scale two octaves higher.
